Real alerts (admin)

Turn these on to get an actual desktop notification when something needs you — the uncovered-slot alert, the 8am check-in, new requests — even if this tab isn't the one you're looking at. Requires the tab to stay open somewhere; a fully closed browser needs a real backend (Resend/push), which comes next.

Mark a TA absent (admin)

Homerooms are normally covered silently by the TA above — this is the only case that needs a click. It opens exactly that TA's homerooms for someone else to pick up.
